There have been laws against monopolies for many many years. Why are they not prosecuted? Putting price controls on “gouging” worries me as someone in government has to decide what price the price gouging is and which products are being sold via price gouging. Farmers are already getting less than needed to support their farms so controlling prices is scary as it will get pushed down to them as it has historically.
