Membership fuels our work. Support Civil Eats by signing up for our membership service through Pico. Starting January 2022, for the first time in more than five years, our rates have increased to keep up with increasing costs. An annual membership, with unlimited access to all of Civil Eats’ award-winning, independent news, is $50 per year, a student membership is $25 per year, and give-one, get-one memberships will remain the same, at $100 per year.
Every dollar helps, and we want to ensure that anyone who wants to read and share our coverage is able to. We also offer group memberships for educational institutions, nonprofits, and for-profits. When you buy an annual membership to Civil Eats you will receive unlimited access to Civil Eats’ award-winning reporting, our weekly newsletter, and The Deep Dish, our members-only monthly newsletter.
Please note: Civil Eats memberships are set to automatically renew without interruption until you cancel. The renewal charges will be the same as the purchased rate unless we notify you otherwise in advance. Annual membership renewal notices are sent via email prior to your next billing. (Please note: if you unsubscribe from Civil Eats communications, you will also not receive a renewal notice.) You may cancel at any time by visiting our member portal and clicking “Manage Subscription” or by emailing us at members-at-civileats.com. Cancellations will take effect at the end of the billing period; until then you will still have access to Civil Eats’ content. If you do not wish to have automatic renewal payments, please contact us at members-at-civileats.com before signing up and we will assist you with other arrangements.
