Kari Lydersen is a Chicago-based reporting fellow for Energy News Network and assistant professor at the Medill School of Journalism, Media, Integrated Marketing Communications at Northwestern University, where she leads the Investigative and Social Justice specializations in the graduate program. She is the author of five books, including Closing the Cloud Factories: Lessons from the fight to shut down Chicago's coal plants. Her work has appeared in outlets including The Washington Post, The New York Times, The Guardian, WBEZ Chicago Public Media, In These Times magazine and others.
